Making Holiday Meals for our unhoused Neighbors

As most people know, there are a great number of people experiencing homelessness in Los Angeles and around the country. In the spirit of creating Peace, spreading Love, and generating Positivity, we started a volunteer group called PLP Service. Our work has expanded and we have found other organizations who are doing similar work year round to provide meals, supplies, and access to resources to aid the unhoused and newly housed members of our community. On December 21st we will be making and distributing meals to people living in encampments, RV’s and recently placed in hotels in the Palms, Culver City , Mar Vista and West LA areas of Los Angeles. Our goal is to give a bit of relief to as many as we can during this Holiday season. Most of these HUMAN BEINGS are trying to find a way to improve their lives and have run into a series of setbacks. We can’t solve the whole problem on our own, but we can be part of the solution in our own neighborhood. And we also can’t do it alone. We are asking for monetary donations to help offset the cost of food and supplies. No amount is too small. Perhaps the cost of a cups of your favorite coffee or juice, a fast food meal, or a drink at the bar. All donation will go directly to the cost of bringing good cheer to those less fortunate than ourselves. It’s been a hard year for many of you, but many philosophies believe that when you give, you receive more in return for your willingness to help others. Check out our partners, who do much all year to aid the unhoused and are helping us grow our mission.
