We're making a music video for Democracy!

With your help, we've finished our video "Rise Up" for Democracy! We still need to raise money to cover the studio costs and professional video editing.

We're activists who passionately believe that voting is a sacred right. Today, as our democracy is being threatened, we have faith that good people will Rise to the challenge of helping each other stay focused on the steep path toward Liberty and Justice for all.

We're a husband and wife team with a history of writing songs for pop stars like Cher, Pat Benatar, Teddy Pendergrass, Anne Murray and many others. We feel strongly about using our talents and experience as musicians, composers, songwriters and producers to uplift and inspire people to protect the integrity of voting rights in our country. To that end, in 2020, we and our co-writer, Margo Schepart, created a music video, Plan Your Vote, to teach people about their voting options in an entertaining way. Our current project for the 2022 election cycle is a public service music video that inspires people to embrace the power of each individual voice and VOTE for Democracy. We co-wrote the song “Rise Up,” collaborating again with our friend and lyricist, Margo Schepart.

Award-winning gospel singer Michelle Brooks-Thompson takes the song to a phenomenal level with her spectacular vocals against the background of additional singers and musicians involved in the creation of this song. And Dimitri LaBarge, film editor extraordinaire, made our ideas come to life.

We still have expenses, so anything you could give would be greatly appreciated and you will be doing your part to spread an inspirational message of hope and belief in the power of community.
