If you can help?  I've been introduced to father and son, Alexandre & Alex who has had to move from the place they lived, as the house is being torn down (unfortunately much needed).   Living conditions were rough, appears since they lost their mother they have never really recovered and still mourn hoarding every item that holds an emotional connection.  I've spent the past 4 days helping them sift through; dumping over 7  truck loads,  u-hauling and storing those items they cannot part with and finding them an apartment, moving them in this morning.  I am sure there are many cases alike, though this one was special to see a father and only son attached at the hip, both  knowing how poor the conditions were, the travesty of a lost mom, and having to move and part with those items that had meaning.  Yet they both stand by each other's side as best friends with a daily objective to take care of each other.   Son Alex is attending CCRI taking classes 3 days per week, those school days he travels by bus with ambitions to find a good job to live in a better place and take care of his father. 

 As I help them move into their new home, I have helped with deposit and purchased some area rugs to help with comfort.   It's been difficult for Alex to get work, and with school schedule makes it harder.   I am working to get him some hours at the Tavern.   In the meantime iam trying to raise monies to purchase new linen, towels and toiletries, a desk for Alex's bedroom, and other things to help them get on their feet and have a Merry Christmas.
