UGANDA Faces a Critical Doctor Shortage—Together, We’re Making a Difference!

We are nearing the finish line! Thomas Ojambo, an aspiring doctor in Uganda, is on the cusp of achieving his dream. By August 2026, he will have completed his 5 years of medical school, and by August 2027, after his internship, he will officially be a doctor.

This journey has been made possible thanks to your incredible generosity. Together, we’ve raised enough to cover Thomas’s fees and accommodation through June 2025, and his future looks brighter than ever.

Now, we need just $1,390 to fully fund his tuition, accommodation, and university fees for the last two semesters. Once secured, Thomas will be able to return to his village as its first-ever doctor, providing life-changing care to over 108,000 people who currently lack access to adequate medical services.

Thomas has committed to serving his community through a partnership with ASDHI, a trusted local NGO. He will work for at least two years in the fishing villages along Lake Victoria, where the need for healthcare is critical.
