Let’s make Sam Smile

Sam  is a 9 year old boy that attends Balfour Primary School, Brighton. After a prolonged illness he was diagnosed with a Wilms Tumour (Kidney cancer)  in September 2019. He has had the tumour and his kidney removed at St George's Hospital, London and is currently completing a course of chemo therapy. He and his family have shown so much courage, strength and bravery during such an exhausting and difficult time.  Although his outlook is optimistic, he has a long road to recovery ahead of him.

This crowdfund has been set up by his friends to support his family with the hope that they are able to take a much needed holiday at the end of Sam’s treatment cycle in the summer. Sam is an amazing kid who is really looking forward to feeling ‘normal’ again and is loved by an incredible network of family and friends. Any donation however small will be gratefully received as we would love for them to have something to look forward to. 

Sam is currently receiving specialist treatment at both the Royal Marsden and the Royal Alexandra Children’s Hospital (The Alex) Brighton; please see below for updates.
