Help Rachel Record & Release A Life-Changing Song!

About the Project:

Hello! My name is Rachel Durbin, and I am a singer, songwriter, and worship leader. Over the past 5 years I have been writing and releasing Christian music that promotes spiritual growth through my business, Garden Artistry Music. I completed the Writing Worship Mentorship (created by Krissy Nordhoff), and have attended the Writing Worship Conferences in Franklin, TN for the past several years. 

At last year's conference, Eric Stair, Jalyn McGill, Heidi Kottke, and I wrote a song that we think has the potential to change lives. This song was reviewed by several professional songwriters (Rebekah White, Robby Valderrama, Bailey Hager, and Eric Nordhoff) at the convention last year, and received great feedback and an instant reaction from all of the other professional songwriters in the room! This song is upbeat, energetic, and carries the message that things change when we speak the name of Jesus. With proper funding for this project, we will be able to hire excellent musicians, producers, and marketing specialists to create a high quality, commercially-ready recording that will be able to get this message to the people that need to hear it most! 

What We Need To Make This Possible:

Creating a recording of this caliber requires more funding than we currently have available:

* $4,000 for production costs with Robby Valderrama at Spring Hill Studios in Nashville (this includes costs for hiring all musicians needed on the project)

* $3,000-$4,000 for Marketing Services and Advertising (primarily through Courage Studios)

* $1,000 to make a high quality lyric video

* Grand total of $8,000 for our goal, and any additional funds will go toward increased marketing, creating an even higher quality video, radio promotions, etc. 

* Those who support our project will all get a free digital download of both the piano demo and the fully finished recording. There is also potential to provide donors with free song merchandise (think hats, t-shirts, CD's, etc), and even credits on the album!

The Impact

With your support, people might be able to come across this song on the radio as they drive to work. Worship leaders will be able to use it in their congregations and whole churches could be freshly inspired to share the Gospel with their neighbors. Hurting people could come across it on streaming services, and decide to investigate this Jesus that has the potential to produce change in their lives. There is so much potential...

It is overwhelming to be given a vision for something that is bigger than anything you have ever done before. But what I have learned over the years, is that stepping out in faith and allowing others to partner with you toward a goal, creates something more beautiful than you ever thought possible! God's people working together can do AMAZING THINGS! And the things that I might view as obstacles... "Things Change when we speak His name!" So I will proudly declare that with Jesus, all things are possible!
