Help Us Bring Christmas Joy to Tucuesito School – A Personal Service Project in Panamá

Hi, we’re Maria, Kate, and Leela, three high school juniors passionate about giving back. As part of a personal service project, we’re raising $2,000 to bring joy and celebration to the students and teachers of Tucuesito, a small, rural school in Penonomé, Panamá, about 3-3.5 hours from Panama City.

Tucuesito is home to 42 incredible students (from preschoolers up to 9th graders) and 3 dedicated teachers (one who also serves as the principal). Despite limited resources and a challenging road to reach the school, these children show up every day eager to learn and grow.

Unfortunately, many of them have never experienced a festive holiday celebration. We want to change that. During Thanksgiving break, we will host a Christmas party to give the students and teachers a day they’ll never forget—complete with toys, meals, cakes, and fun!

Here’s how your donation can make an impact:

$20 = A toy for one child

$26 = A toy plus a meal for one child

$120 = Toys for five children
