Dear Friends,

As we near the holiday season, I want to take a moment to say thank you for your help with Lucy’s Children last year. Because of your generosity, we were able to visit four orphanages and bless so many children with gifts and essentials.

This has now become a beautiful annual tradition, and this year marks our seventh year of spreading love and kindness to orphans in Cameroon. None of this would be possible without your continued support. Once again, I am reaching out to ask for your help to make Christmas 2025 special for Lucy’s Children. Christmas is a time for reflection, gratitude, and giving, and a reminder that even the smallest act of kindness can make a big difference.

Since our first campaign, we’ve raised over $10,000, helping more than 650 orphans with food, school tuition, Christmas toys, clothing, mattresses, and even medical expenses.

This year, we’ve selected four orphanages in Douala where we plan to distribute gifts and supplies for 200 more children, ranging in age from 1 month to 17 years old. Through your donations, we hope to give them a joyful Christmas and remind them that they are loved and not forgotten.

This campaign is especially meaningful to me as I prepare to complete nursing school. Nursing has taught me the value of compassion and helping those who cannot help themselves. In the same way, I want to show compassion and reach out to those orphans who need our love and support. As a student, I know the need and impact of education. I also want to help these children’s education by giving them school supplies and books this Christmas.

Lucy’s Children was born from a deeply personal loss. In 2016, I lost my beloved sister Lucy, a widow with three young daughters. My family took in her children and gave them the love and stability they needed. From that experience, I founded Lucy’s Children to honor her memory and extend that same love to other orphans in need.
