Make Camila's Taylor Swift Dream Come True
Donation protected
Camila is a beautiful, smart, fun, Swiftie-loving 10-year-old girl. She was diagnosed with congenital muscular dystrophy at the age of 4 months. Although she cannot physically move around like she dreams of, her cognition is intact and she enjoys life with those around her.
My name is Kim, and I met Camila when she was only 16 months old when I first started in the healthcare field. Our bond quickly grew from a nurse and her client to two best friends. Throughout these 9 years, Camila has taught me so much, more than she’ll ever know. She has taught me to be brave, kind, and empathic, along with many amazing things. In her short 10 years of life, she has impacted so many people’s lives. Camila has a heart of gold. She is always putting others before herself. If you get the chance to meet Camila and get to know her you will realize she is full of life. She loves to sing and dance. Despite the obstacles she faces she finds a way to enjoy life. She loves making TikTok videos and has no issues memorizing the dances. One of our favorite things to do on our car rides is to sing our lungs out (of course, in my opinion, she can out-sing anyone.) Her favorite songs of course are none other than Taylor Swift. Just look at her tray and water bottles full of Taylor Swift stickers. She knows every song word for word and she can tell you which album it belongs in. Talk about a true fan!
Camila has had more medical appointments, procedures, and surgeries than the majority of adults throughout her lifetime. She has a major surgery (Spinal Fusion) in Charlotte, North Carolina, scheduled for December 20th, 2024, and will be in the hospital recovering during Christmas. Her one request is to go to the Taylor Swift concert in October for “Christmas” since she will be in the hospital. To make her dream a reality, we need help from family, friends, and all those in between. Please consider donating to get this amazing girl to see her idol, Taylor Swift, live in action. Life is precious and we want her to live life to the fullest! There are limited ADA seats at these concerts, but with your help, she can get there!
