Hi my name is Lee and I am Bens dad. Up until early this year Ben was living with his mum and brother at home and I worked away from home and lived in my own home. I see Ben pretty much every weekend and he is my shadow. Unfortunately as he has grown up he has become harder to care for and due to this he has been placed in a home full time.

This was a very difficult decision and it has hit us all very hard. The first few months were very hard for him and me to deal with. I lost my flat last year due to the landlord being repossessed and because I was working away couldn’t find a new home so eventually bought a motorhome and live in that. It has needed some work on it to bring it up to a fully working home but due to work and time it’s not yet there. Despite that it has become Bens weekend retreat with me and we spend the night in it every weekend.

The plan is to get the van totally working so we have heating and power as well as running water which are all there they just need fixing and servicing. I’m desperate to give him what he deserves but need a little help getting there.
