Let’s make Baby Spencer a reality.

Hi everyone! My name is Kristen. My sister Whitney and her husband Alex have been married for 15 years, 13 of which they have been trying for a child. Due to her having a near-death abdominal infection as a child, they have had to seek out fertility treatments to start a family. They have undergone numerous tests and fertility procedures that have all failed thus far. It has been an incredibly difficult journey both emotionally and financially. I have rarely met two individuals that would make better parents. They constantly amaze me with their dedication to the end goal.

The only remaining option is to go through in-vitro fertilization. The fertility clinic has quoted them a minimum of $33,000 and my heart goes out to them. Insurance does not cover a dime and they are feeling the pressure of 100% out of pocket expenses, especially now that it appears they may have to try this entire process twice. UPDATE:  Results were not what were hoped for during the first part of the process, so a second round of egg retrieval is now their next step prior to starting the process of preparing for transfer and hopeful implantation.
