Make a special Christmas for struggling families

Hello,
My husband and I decided we would not purchase any gifts for ourselves this year and instead use the money to bless a family or two this Christmas. I posted an ad on Vancouver B.C Craigslist last night in the free section: CL Posting

Within an hour or so, my inbox started receiving requests from families all over Vancouver who were looking for some Christmas cheer. My heart broke and I sobbed as I read one story after the next of the families who were humbly asking for help. I would love to help every family reaching out (in 24hrs there have been 20 families) however, we are a family of four with one income as I homeschool my two children aged 5 and 8.
My prayer is that I can reach others who may be willing to help these families as I am now left with a terribly difficult and daunting task of choosing 1 or 2 families.
I will be in touch with all of the families reaching out and will be verifying authenticity of needs. As well I will update pictures and supporting documentation of any and all donations given. I will be contacting families and asking for a wish list. We will buy toys and gift cards.
