My name is Mesam and I am one of the many volunteers at the Pavilion Cafe. On Saturday 2nd August, we’re climbing Scafell Pike, England’s highest mountain, and the week after the Yorkshire 3 Peaks. All to raise funds for the Pavilion Community Hub & Café, a not-for-profit space making a real difference in people’s lives.

At the heart of what we do is two projects. The Friendship Café, a weekly initiative offering a free three course meal to anyone who needs it. A warm space, and real human connection. And secondly the Sunday Community Run Club, helping people improve their fitness, boost mental health, and build a stronger sense of community. All completely free of charge.

These projects are powered entirely by volunteers and community support and that’s where I need your help. Every donation, no matter the size, helps us keep our doors open, our meals cooking, and our community moving. Support our climb and be part of making a change in Pendle!
