Hello my name is Maria-Bell Mendez, since the age of 4 years old I have been battling with Kidney failure. At the age of 8 I had both kidney's removed. Then 2 years later in April of 2014 I received a Kidney Transplant I fought long and hard to get a chance at a "NORMAL'' Life. I am currently in full blown kidney rejection and am losing my kidney. Using a Machine to keep you alive is hard your body changes in so many ways as does your whole life. I will be 16 on October 10th 2019 and my only wish has always been to have a Sweet 16.
