Make a difference in Burundi

**Stop Press** Also now includes Flood Support - see video below
Hi, I'm Steve Jenkins, and I've been regularly going to some of the most challenging parts of East Africa since 2006. I am often asked to teach / speak in communities, churches and universities to inspire hope and life in the most difficult circumstances. Burundi is currently the poorest and hungriest nation in the world, and that is when I am going at the end of May this year. Some of the remote communities, like the one pictured here on my last visit, have no infrastructure - medical care, roads, schools, safe housing etc. just don't exist. But I am privileged to partner with people that can make a difference in all these and more. I am currently working in the UK within the construction industry with an objective of building better lives in the communities I visit. For example, the Homes of Hope project... where these fragile mud huts collapse in tropical storms, we fund and build solid new homes in these communities to give safe accommodation - particularly to widows with no means to re-build their lives.
- Building projects.
- Medical help
- Homes of home
- Teaching / education opportunities

And so much more! Would you please help me to facilitate more of this incredible work for those who genuinely can't afford to do it themselves... to give you a comparison. The Annual GDP per capita in the UK in 2021 was $46,510 in Burundi it is now $241.... yes! A year! . There are no zero's missing... so every £ or $ that we can use to help really does make a difference.
Thank you in advance for your generosity.
