June 2021, my beautiful daughter Alix was diagnosed with stage four ALK Positive lung cancer. Unfortunately, 12 months in, the cancer is still growing. For the past year she has received chemo options, and relapsed twice on two different treatment lines, there are only a limited amoiunt of other available options. Recently she received another blow, that she has a mutation called MET, which is super aggressive .…. I mean honestly give her a break!

I would love to give Alix more experiences whilst she is well enough and make amazing memories.

Alix is such an amazing young lady, who is dealing with the unthinkable.

Whilst she is doing her best to deal with this day-in-day-out, looking into her eyes I see how scared she is, how brave she is trying to be, determined to get through her treatment and remaining positive.

Imagine, if this was your child, seeing what I see .. as her mum, I cannnot fix this, I cannnot say it’s all going to be ok, I cannnot dust her down and say tomorrow will be better.
