Mainfreight - IAH is putting together a cookout to serve lunches for 2 shelters of 200 and 400 people Saturday Sept. 2nd. We will use the funds to purchase the following:
Meat
Chips
Potato Salad
Utensils,
To go boxes
Serviettes
Water
Soda's
Coal
This is our opportunity to give back to our community during this natural disaster. All the funds will go towards food and whatever is left over will be donated to the shelters.
Mainfreight Logistics is a global logistics company HQ in Auckland, New Zealand. We have a local branch here in Houston, TX where I am the Air & Ocean Branch Manager. Along with my counterpart, Peter Joyce - Transport Branch Manager and our teams from Dallas, TX and Austin, TX, we have committed to serve lunch to 2 area shelters in relief of Hurricane Harvey. We have 63 branches in the Americas who are all wanting to help and by setting this fund up, we'll be able to get the money needed to buy all the supplies for the lunches.
