Maine to Spain for Tanner

Hi! My name is Ashly Seura and I am asking for your generosity in helping us send our son Tanner to Spain, to take advantage of a wonderful opportunity!

Tanner is currently a senior in Highschool. He has applied to many colleges, mostly in the New England area. He is interested in studying fitness and nutrition. Tanner is a fitness junkie! His passion for fitness has stemmed from his love of soccer, which he has been playing since he was 5 years old. When he is not on the field, he is training for when he is. It truly is his happy place! He wants to pursue soccer in college.

In the middle of December, Tanner had a very exciting opportunity come his way. Through exposure from a recruiting app, he was contacted by a recruiter in Castellon Spain, with an opportunity to play for FC Odisea. This invitation is for a roster spot on the Mens U19 Academy team along with 23 other players from around the globe. He will be immersed in a full-time soccer program with UEFA licensed coaches, while simultaneously studying fitness and nutrition.

This is a 10-month program that is all-inclusive. The total cost is 35,000 euros. They have offered him a 15,000 scholarship, which leaves a balance due of 20,000 euros. The funds raised will cover the 10 month football program, his housing, 3 meals per day, educational courses in health, fitness and the spanish language and transportation to games, along with a myriad of other perks. At the end of the ten month period, they will assist him with placement into a US College, or possible advancement in their mens soccer program, which could lead to joining their semi-pro team.
