Magnus' Charity Expedition to Tanzania, November 27th to December 5th 2019
I am part of an expedition going to Arusha, Tanzania with my school, College du Leman, a Nord Anglia School. The purpose of the expedition is to assist a charity called the Seeway Trust Tanzania. The charity was founded in 2005 and the following video provides some background information on the work it does for the local communities around Arusha in Northern Tanzania:

During our 10 day expedition we will help to build a school and some goat sheds, install solar panels in local homes, and other projects as needed for the local communities. We will also be spending time with the local children and learning about each others cultures. This trip will be a new, exciting, and educational experience for me and I will be extremely grateful for any donation you may be able to provide. The funds that I raise will be used for the project work that we are contributing to this year. Any excess funds we raise will be used to support the local community in a manner deemed appropriate by our expedition group. We will decide this through student led group discussions and it could include supporting families with school fees, repairing buildings damaged by general wear and tear throughout the year or donating books to the local school. All donations will go to the Seeway Trust Tanzania.
I have made this short slide show about the expedition that I hope you will find interesting:

My fundraising campaign for this expedition will end on October 25th 2019.
Thank you again for your time and consideration.
