Help Us Create a Magical Christmas Birthday Bash for Children with Disabilities!
This Christmas, we’re coming together to do something truly special, a Christmas Birthday Bash for children with disabilities and their families who often miss out on the joy and excitement of festive celebrations.
Many of our children don’t get invited to Neurotypical birthday parties due to accessibility needs, sensory sensitivities, or simply not having a space that fully includes them.
So this December, JoshyBoyLegacy CIC (JBL) is hosting a community-led celebration that ensures no child is left out of the magic.
Our Mission:
To give these incredible children a day filled with joy, laughter, and inclusion, where every child feels celebrated, seen, and special.
What the day will include:
A Christmas-themed birthday party for children with disabilities and their siblings
Face painting, crafts, music, and sensory-friendly fun
A warm Christmas meal for families
Special gifts for each child and appreciation tokens for parents and carers. A Hamper for each family.
We are also hoping we can provide Christmas Hampers for an extra 20 families separate from the birthday bash attendees.
Why We Need Your Help:
This event is completely self-funded, and we currently have no external funding to cover the costs. While many kind people and organisations are offering their time and services at community rates, there are still essential services and costs we must pay for in full such as venue hire, decorations, food, and entertainment.
Your donation will go directly toward covering these costs and ensuring every child and family has the best experience possible.
Estimated total cost: £2,500 – £3,000
Every little bit helps, whether it’s £5 or £50, it all adds up to create a magical day these families will never forget.
✨ Please donate, share, and help us spread the love this season. Together, we can make Christmas brighter for families who need it most.
With gratitude,
