Hi folks! Some of you may be aware of the devastating fire that hit 105 Park Avenue on April 3rd because it occurred in the heart of Contoocook and may have disrupted your daily travel. Most of us know, however, because 105 Park Ave and the Cooks occupy their own place in our hearts. Maggie and Jim have spent decades lovingly cultivating a gathering place for so many, and creating a home that extends beyond them and their girls. While I have no doubt that they will continue this tradition, they have lost the physical manifestation of their love. 105 Park Ave has held weddings, bridal & baby showers, and too many graduations to count. It’s been there for our late nights on the porch and early mornings in the pool. It’s seen Kaley and Paige go from bringing home bottles to bringing home babies. It’s held tears of joy and of grief, and has heard more laughter & held more love than one would think possible. It was a good house. More than that, it was an incredible home.
On behalf of Mags and Jimbo, I am asking for your contribution to help them in this time of recovery. Nearly everything was lost in the fire, including their beloved cat Timon, and it’s our turn to take care of them like they take care of us. Additionally, I would love to hear your favorite memories from their home - anything that makes you smile & will keep 105 Park Ave alive. Feel free to email or text me with any thoughts & memories to be compiled: 6 0 3-4 9 6 -5 5 6 8; jpennell.ti at gmail . com
thank you!
