Maggie and Owens fight.

This is the second time I’ve had to ask for help with legal fees, it’s been a long road for Owen and I... as well as everyone else involved with helping us through this.

it seems we’re at the end of our journey and after a whole lot of events that have taken place since the last time we were in court, Owen is now in my care 99% of the time.

in my fight to secure this we’re heading to a hearing, with this hearing comes a surprise retainer fee of 6,000$... knowing about this fee when our journey started would have been helpful and I’m finding myself scrambling before I walk into a hearing without adequate representation. It is important to me that we stay with the lawyer who got us as far as we are now, I place full confidence in her abilities. Though our case really speaks for itself the future of my child is on the line and I’m really not willing to gamble.

so, I humbly ask you for help... we don’t have much time, and every little bit helps. Being 7 months pregnant, having to face my abuser in court in attempts to protect my child, and stress about money is taking its toll. Thank you all for everything you do.. here’s hoping for a positive outcome and a healthy and stable future for Owen, as he deserves the world.
