Magdalen Rd Community Defibrillator

Some of the Magdalen Road community businesses and organisations including Comper Nursery School are working together to raise money for a Defibrillator to be installed on the road. This area has a very high foot fall of people accessing the local shops, cafes, Comper Nursery School, Stanley Road Mosque and Magdalen Road Church. There are more than 30,000 out of hospital cardiac arrests each year. Chances of survival decrease by 10% with every minute that passes without treatment. Quick access to a community defibrillator really can increase the chances that someone could survive an otherwise fatal heart attack.
