The Curry College Men's Rugby Club and Curry Cares present the 2022 Maffie Memorial 7s Tournament. This tournament is in honor of a former teammate, Anthony Maffie, who passed away in 2018 from a seizure. The goal of this tournament is to raise money for the Epilepsy Foundation. 100% of all funds raised go right to The Epilepsy Foundation; more information on them is below:
More information about Epilepsy Foundation: Our Mission: The Epilepsy Foundation is a national, charitable organization founded in 1968. The Epilepsy Foundation will ensure that people with seizures are able to participate in all life experiences; and will prevent, control and cure epilepsy through research, education, advocacy, and services. Our national office is in Landover, Maryland, a suburb of Washington, D.C. Approximately 60 affiliated Epilepsy Foundations serve people with seizures, and their families, in hundreds of communities nationwide.
