Flight home, and palliative-hospice care
Donation protected
As you may know, I have reached out to you all before. Dad is dealing with a brain tumor and has been diagnosed with glioblastoma.
This is a terminal diagnosis.
Things have slowly gone downhill, and my father's wife has decided that she is unfit to care for him properly. I am his only child, and I am stepping up to care for my father.
I am reaching out to ask you all for any help in raising funds to help me fly to Korea, escort my father back stateside, and any upcoming costs for him here.
**My father is too confused and weak to travel alone**
We will need to get dad into hospice/palliative care once we are stateside.
I need to get to Korea by October 21, and any funds that exceed the plane ticket costs will go toward his care afterward..
Plane tickets seem to average around $1,500 to $2,000 per person. I am assuming this is because of the short notice to flight departure date.
I would not be reaching out to you all if not for the desperate situation that we are in. I have tried finding friends with flight miles but to no avail.
Please help me get my father home to the United States so that he can be surrounded by loved ones and cared about for the remainder of his days.
If a donation is beyond your means, please pray hard for us as we navigate these tumultuous times.
I will post updates as I can.
