On Wednesday November 13th, our mother Angelica Madera, was detained by ICE officers at her place of work. Our mother came to this country in hopes of achieving the American dream to better her life and the life of her family.  She is a single mother of five, four of which still heavily depend on her. She works double shifts just to make ends meet. Both of her ex-husbands have been deported in the past leaving her to raise a family on her own. She is a strong independent women who fights to give her children a better life. I’m reaching out in hopes to raise some money to not only help with all of the legal costs, but also ensure that her children continue to have everything they need. Absolutely anything will help us out and we pray that our mom will make it out and have the opportunity to reunite with her children. 

 
El miércoles, 13 de noviembre, nuestra madre Angelica Madera fue detenida por oficiales de ICE en su lugar de trabajo. Nuestra madre vino a este país con la esperanza de lograr el sueño americano de mejorar su vida y la de su familia. Es madre soltera de cinco hijos, cuatro de los cuales aún dependen en gran medida de ella. Ella trabaja turnos dobles solo para alcanzar a sostener a su familia y pagar los biles. Sus dos ex-maridos han sido deportados en el pasado, dejándola sola a criar una familia. Es una mujer fuerte e independiente que lucha por darle a sus hijos una vida mejor. Les pido ayuda con la esperanza de recaudar fondos, no solo para ayudar con todos los gastos legales, sino también para asegurar que sus hijos continúen teniendo todo lo que necesitan. Cualquier cantidad de dinero nos ayudará y rezamos para que nuestra madre tenga la oportunidad de reunirse con sus hijos en este país.
