Hi, my name is Meadow, and I’m currently a high school sophomore at Spanish Springs High School. I just moved to Reno, and I want to make a difference in my new community. I’ve already noticed how many people struggle to get enough food, and it really touched my heart.

I used to work at a bakery, and I loved seeing how happy people were when they received food. That made me realize that not everyone has that luxury, and sometimes all it takes is one kind person to change someone’s whole day — or even their perspective on life. That’s why I want to help by making meals myself and personally giving them to homeless people — putting a smile on their face with every meal.

So far, my family and I have delivered almost 100 meals, and some friends have even joined in to help. I know people are busy, which is why I thought this would be a great way to start something as a community, where everyone can contribute in small ways — through donations of food, essentials, or funds — to make a big impact together.

I’m also so grateful that our local Spanish Springs Red Robin has already donated containers to help me deliver the meals safely!

I started this project because I believe everyone deserves a warm meal and a little kindness, no matter their situation. Even though I’m young, I know I can make an impact — and I want to show others that helping our community is possible at any age.

All donations will go directly to buying food, drinks, and care packages, and I’ll make sure every dollar and item is used to bring hope and help to people in need. I’ll also post updates and photos (without showing anyone’s face without permission) so you can see how your support is helping.

Every little bit counts — even $5, a bag of essentials, or small donations can make a difference. Together, we can bring hope, love, smiles, and friendship to people who need it most. Thank you for helping me make Reno a kinder place!
