A day without laughter is a day wasted.
I am requesting your help to grant a wish for my friend, Maddie. She is a vibrant, funny, amazing, caring 24 year old. She lights up every room she's in with infectious laughter.
She was diagnosed with Hodgkins Lymphoma Stage 2 in Spring 2015 at the age of 22. She was told it was completely curable. After many rounds of harsh chemo and immunotherapy, it was discovered that her cancer is chemo-resistant and has spread everywhere including into her bones. She refused to ask about her prognosis.
While she is still feeling healthy, Maddie would like to travel to France to visit her family and then go on to Scotland to follow the history of her ancestral line. With the financial strain of her treatments, she doesn't have funds to make this trip.
Please help fund Maddie's make-a-wish-for-adults! She has and will be missing out on so much in life. She deserves a fabulous trip to remember for the rest of her life.
