Late on Halloween night the most frightful thing that could happen to an expectant mother happened to Macy, her water broke unexpectedly at 34 weeks. After rushing to the hospital in the middle of the night Maverick Lee Ramsey was born on Monday November 1st at 2:22am weighing in at 5lbs 14oz, 19 inches long. He was taken via emergency C-section and rushed away before his parents were even able to hold him.

Macy is currently recovering from surgery at Olmsted Medical Center, but little Maverick was taken to the NICU at St Mary's Mayo Rochester. He has had a rough start not only being separated from his parents, but has since torn a hole in his lung requiring a tube to breathe, as well as had the need for a more intense ventilator as his first one wasn't enough.

I am asking for donations for Macy Wiegert and Lee Ramsey not only as a concerned sister and aunt, but as an expectant mother myself. I cannot imagine the pain and agony they are going through, and will continue to go through until he is safe at home. These donations that will help cover general costs of gas, food, and lodging next to the hospital, all things that are inflated right now. These things would make a world of difference to this family when they are already dealing with so much, and Macy being unable to drive right now. Our family will be forever grateful for any support that is given, as this will be our most challenging and heartbreaking journey yet.
