Macon County Sheriff's Office Mounted Unit
Donation protected
Hi, my name is André Brunson. I am the Sheriff of Macon County Alabama and only the fourth black person to hold this position in history.
My office is located in historic Tuskegee, Alabama and I am proud to represent the people of Macon County as an elected official in a time of great change and development in our nation's history.
I am an avid horseman and proponent of Black Cowboy culture. I stand on the shoulders of the Buffalo Soldiers, the legendary Bass Reaves, and Tuskegee's very own Sheriff Lucius Amerson, the first black Sheriff in Macon County, Alabama.
I am asking for your help in the creation of our first ever mounted patrol unit. In addition to the historic significance of a mounted unit, my trained deputies on horseback will offer an incomparable level of protection for the citizens of Macon County, Alabama. Mounted units are invaluable tools in search & rescue operations, crowd control, high visibility policing, and crime prevention.
So, please give what you can and share this campaign with your friends and family.
I look forward to greeting and thanking you in person the next time you come to Tuskegee, Alabama.
God Bless,
André Brunson
