Maccu Picchu 2026 in aid of DPJ

Hi, my name is Sarah and I'll be hiking Maccu Picchu in May 2026 in aid of the DPJ Foundation.

Emma, who is the founder of the foundation, was my sons teacher in 2016 when her husband tragically took his own life. She very quickly set up DPJ with the aim to support local people in the agricultural sector to support mental health.

From it's establishment, the charity has gone on to achieve incredible things including training thousands of people in mental health awareness, providing fullly funded counseling to over one thousand people and reached millions of people through their extensive volunteer work over the whole of the UK.

2026 will mark 10 years since the charity was established and something exceptional is needed to mark the milestone.

I, along with a team of 15 other individuals will be trekking Machu Picchu over the course of 4 days in May 2026.

Personally, this is an opportunity for me to raise funds for an incredible charity which I have always cheered on from the sidelines and am incredibly proud to be part of the team.
