Recently one of our friends/teammates lost his lovely partner Katie, who was killed in a house fire in a tragic mistaken identity attack. We are heartbroken for her and all of those that have been affected by her passing.

In response, we are putting together an ice-hockey game between 2 clubs with the aim of raising some funds and to show our support for Mathew during this arduous time. The funds will be donated to Mat, giving him the option to take away some financial burden, donate to a charity that aligns with Katie or to further support her family in this time.

The game will be called Katie's Match and will be played on February 23rd at 9:45pm at IceHQ; who have been lovely enough to donate the ice time to us so that all proceeds will go directly to Mat.

The match will be live-streamed with commentary via the IceHQ page on YouTube, we encourage people to follow along/ come on down to support.
