Mio figlio Filippo, detto Filo, ha 16 anni, ama il gelato fragola e cioccolato, andare in bicicletta e ascoltare la musica cantando a squarciagola. È un ragazzo con la sindrome di Down che affronta la vita con un’energia contagiosa e un sorriso che scioglie il cuore.

Purtroppo, la settimana scorsa, Filippo è caduto mentre andava in bicicletta. Una brutta caduta. Ha perso tre denti anteriori permanenti. Da allora, quel sorriso che lo rende unico si è spento un po’.

Filippo oggi ha difficoltà a mangiare e a parlare con serenità. Ma soprattutto, ha smesso un po' di sorridere. E chi lo conosce sa bene quanto quella luce negli occhi e quel sorriso fossero parte di lui.

I costi per ripristinare la sua dentatura con impianti e interventi specialistici sono alti — circa €2.500 — e purtroppo non coperti dal servizio sanitario per casi come il suo.

Per questo motivo ho deciso di che il prossimo 22 giugno 2025 correrò la Viking Marathon, 42 km, per lui: per mio figlio Filo!

Ogni chilometro sarà un passo verso il suo nuovo sorriso. Ogni donazione sarà un tassello per ridargli la sicurezza, la gioia e la libertà che merita.

My son Filippo, known as Filo, is 16 years old, loves strawberry and chocolate ice cream, riding his bike and listening to music while singing at the top of his lungs. He is a boy with Down syndrome who faces life with contagious energy and a smile that melts the heart.

Unfortunately, last week, Filippo fell while riding his bike. A bad fall. He lost three permanent front teeth. Since then, that smile that makes him unique has faded a bit.

Today Filippo has difficulty eating and speaking fluently. But above all, he has stopped smiling a bit. And those who know him know how much that light in his eyes and that smile were a part of him.

The costs of restoring his teeth with implants and specialist interventions are high - around €2,500 - and unfortunately not covered by the health service for cases like his.

For this reason I have decided that on June 22, 2025 I will run the Viking Marathon, 42 km, for him: for my son Filo!
