Hi, my name is Renee Murphy , and I’m reaching out on behalf of an incredible woman, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt and friend—Michelle Scott Crowther.

Recently, Michelle received devastating news: she has been diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer, which has also spread to her spine, lymph nodes and hips. This diagnosis has turned her world upside down—and ours with it.

Michelle is the heart and soul of our family. She is the loving mother of six and the proud grandmother of three. She is a loved sister and aunt and the sister in law to Wade Murphy from Crossroads Motorplex. She has spent her entire life putting others first—whether it was staying up all night with a sick child, cheering from the sidelines at school events, or simply being the shoulder we all leaned on. Now, it’s our turn to support her in the biggest fight of her life.

Her diagnosis comes with intense emotional, physical, and financial challenges. Michelle is facing a long and difficult road of treatments, hospital visits, and care needs. She will be unable to work, and the costs of medical care, transportation, medications, and everyday expenses are already overwhelming. She is now unable to work, as she worked outside of the home for many years being the only income.
