Last night at around 8:30pm (NZ time) Our youngest daughter Brittany, her husband Lucky and our little grandson Shiv lost their home to fire.
They have lost everything except the most important thing, each other.
They are fully insured and that is expected to kick into place within the week.
In the meantime they are going to need a few things to keep them going and to help them be as comfortable as possible.
I know how proud they are and they would never ask for anything but if any of you would like to make a contribution they would be extremely grateful.
Understandably so, they are completely in shock and we are all so devastated for their loss.
They are a beautiful young couple who have worked so hard to get to where they were and had only owned the home (their first) for a couple of years and were so proud of themselves achieving that goal.
Our young grandson is only 15 months old.
