Homeless Care Packages

Hi everybody! I'm Stacy! I'm looking for donations toward care packages that I've been making for the homeless in my area for the last few years around the holidays.

The packages started small, first with just toothbrushes, toothpaste and soap. Last year, I added more items such as chapstick, water bottles, healthy snacks and in some cases, dog food.

This year I would like to add socks, quarters (for laundry), aspirin, and vaseline to the baggies.  I have calculated that the cost of one bag is approximately $8.00. I'm also looking for volunteers to hand them out with me the weekend of December 10th, or at any time that really works for you.  I typically have handed them out on the Venice Beach boardwalk but would like to extend to the downtown area depending on how many bags I can make.  Obviously, if you'd like to help assemble the bags, I would appreciate that too.

These care packages really, really help those who are in need. It's been a rewarding experience for myself and my friends who have handed them out with me in the past. I would be extremely thankful if I reach my goal of making 200 care packages.

Peanut Butter Crackers
Soap
Shampoo/Conditioner

Bottled Water
Socks
Vaseline
Aspirin
Pads (for women)
Bandaids
Toothbrush
Toothpaste
