M10 Missions -Volunteer Trip to Ensenada, Mexico

Hi, my name is Aston Coates (age 15) and I have signed up as a volunteer on an 'M10 Summer 2025 Mission Trip'.

I will be travelling with a group of 16-18 year olds, led by the M10 Missions Charity, we will embark on a 36 hour journey from Newcastle-Heathrow-San Diego, followed by a bus trip to the Mexican border then onto the village of Ensenada where we will then stay on a base camp for 10 days.

Our main mission will be to help build a house for a family living in extreme poverty. We will also engage in other projects and serve some of the poorest communities in the world. We will visit an orphanage as well as a rehab centre.

I am looking froward to help change the lives of others whilst gaining experience and working as part of a team.

To be able to go we have been tasked with each of us having to raise a minimum of £2,980! Hoping this is achievable! I have numerous projects/tasks lined up with the main one being a charity bike ride, called the 'Great North Bike Ride' which will be on Saturday 31st May and will cover approx 60 miles starting at Seahouses and finishing in Tynemouth. My mate 'Samuel Buck' has said he will do it with me to encourage me along the way. We will of course be joined with adults - my dad and few of his friends who are experienced bikers.
