Lyn and Brad's Skydive for Sk8side Youth Services
Donation protected
Councillor Lyn Suddards, The Mayor of Ashford, will be taking part in a parachute jump alongside Bradley Donnelly, a Sk8side youth member and volunteer, to raise money to keep Sk8side open and running, to provide much needed services to the young people of Ashford and surrounding areas, including Tenterden.
Sk8side is a Community Interest Company, meaning that it relies on external funding in order to operate and support young people with their education, social, health and other needs, that may otherwise not be met in mainstream settings.
Here's what Lyn has to say about this challenging fundraiser;
"I am parachuting alongside Bradley from Sk8side to raise funds. I believe in the work of the centre & want other people to take an interest in it. I am terrified and by moving out of my comfort zone I am hoping people will sponsor my terror. I believe my pride will prevent me from running away on the day."
And Bradley has this to say about the challenge;
“ I am doing the jump to give something back to Sk8side as they have done so much for me and I want to keep the centre open. Any donations made will be gratefully received.”
So please dig deep and lets show these two brave individuals your support. The jump is taking place on Sunday 6th April 2025 at 10.30am, at the Headcorn Aérodrome.
Many Thanks.
