LVHS FBLA Turkey Basket Project
Donation protected
Lander Valley FBLA heads many community service projects throughout the year. One of those is the annual Turkey Basket project. During this project, high school students collect canned goods and monetary donations, allowing the creation of Thanksgiving dinners for families in need throughout the community. This project has brought together LVHS along with the community for multiple years. With COVID-19 taking place this year, we are unable to go out through the community to collect donations. To make up for this collection of goods, we have placed boxes for canned food throughout the community at churches, grocery stores, and schools however frozen turkeys cannot be placed in those boxes. The monetary donations help us purchase these turkeys along with other essential Thanksgiving dinner items. The demand for Thanksgiving baskets is significantly higher this year. Because of this, we are asking for your help. If you would like to donate and support the community and Lander Valley High School FBLA, feel free to donate here or contact Mackenzie Janish for more information.
