Lusk Family IVF Journey

Donation protected
Hi, and welcome to this fundraiser!

If you are from Jackson you likely have heard the name "Chelsea Lusk," if it is because you have seen her photography, been her client or are lucky enough to consider her a friend - you know she is one of a kind and easily the best kind of human to exist in this world.

I have had the pleasure of getting to know Chelsea over the past few years and have been beyond grateful for her and all that she does, and I know that I am not the only person that feels this way.

From capturing family's most intimate moments - to making lifelong memories that she incredibly captures to keep forever, she works day in and day out to go above and beyond for every single person and family that she comes into contact with.

With that being said, being a small business owner is no easy feat.  She works countless hours perfecting images, travels, and works around other people's schedules... all while being an incredible wife, mother, and friend.

She recently shared the following post discussing her fertility journey and the difficulties that she has faced head-on all while keeping a huge smile on her face and doing everything she can for everyone else.

She did not ask for this fundraiser - but I believe that nobody should worry about finances when going through medical procedures and working to make their dreams come true; and I hope that you all feel the same.

If Chelsea or her family have ever touched your life in some way, made you smile, captured a memory, supported you etc. please donate what you can.  Every single dollar will go toward IVF and the medical costs associated with it and/or her being able to take the time to heal after all of the procedures.

"Hey guys! Getting a little personal with you all tonight.. Stick with me until the end if you’re curious about session openings! Having babies has never been an easy task for me & Jordan, in fact it took almost 2 years to have a successful first pregnancy which gave us our little miracle babe, Aria! We thought we had the magic concoction down & that baby #2 would be a walk in the park.. We couldn’t have been more wrong. After 26 months, 17 medicated cycles, a few losses & a surgery, we are taking a huge step & have started our IVF journey!
We are mixed with emotions of excitement & nerves, it’s a long process with a lot of appointments, but we know this is the next step in our story & it’s time. Because of this exciting venture, my fall will look a little different this year. We don’t have our exact dates for when things will happen, but I do know I will have to take things a little more slowly than I have in previous years. All of my current sessions are still set to go, but I won’t be adding more dates until I have a better idea of when all of my appointments will fall!
With IVF comes many costs that our insurance unfortunately does not cover, so, after brainstorming with a few friends, I’ve decided to host two full evenings of “IVF micro mini’s!” These will run almost identically to my Christmas micro minis - it just won’t be so cold! I will have a small summery set up & also have areas with no theme to give you a little variation to your gallery! The sessions will be 10 minutes long, include a minimum of 15 images & printing rights through a downloadable online gallery! 100% of the proceeds will go straight to helping us pay for IVF!
The sessions are scheduled for 8/8 & 8/9 with back up rain dates for 8/15 & 8/16. $25 will be due at booking & the balance due at the start of the session. These would be perfect to gift to your parents or grandparents, a great opportunity for updated headshots or any other occasion. I promise to work quickly to make the most out of our time together! To book a slot, follow the link below! If you are gifting one & need a gift certificate emailed to you make sure you email or message me to let me know!
I haven’t opened up to many about our journey with infertility but over the last 5 years I have learned it’s a lot more common than what people think— so if you are struggling, know you’re not alone & I’m always here to listen if you need it<3"
