Lusaka Le Chéile (Lusaka Together) is a group of young Strabane people, who in collaboration with the Spirit of Paul McGirr Foundation, will travel to Lusaka, Zambia in March 2026 to the Tyrone School campus which contains the secondary school, two primary schools and a school for children with disabilities, with the potential to cater for over 1,000 pupils when it is complete.

The trip will involve delivering school educational materials, assisting in school refurbishment efforts, up skilling the pupils and promoting our national games in the schools as a way of having fun, building community and confidence among the students.

This is a grassroots initiative. All participants are paying for their own journey meaning every penny raised goes directly to improving conditions for the children and schools in Lusaka.
