Hi everyone, my name is Cera Briones, and I am starting a GoFundMe page for my sister Cassie and her wife Christina Briones-Corral.

On September 14th Cassie was diagnosed with Lupus. Lupus is an autoimmune disease that creates autoantibodies that attack and destroy healthy tissue, causing inflammation throughout various parts of the body. Unfortunately, like most autoimmune diseases, Lupus can mask itself with multiple symptoms. On October 22nd, she was taken into the emergency room with fluid in her lungs, and her kidneys are overproducing protein. She has also had multiple seizures ranging from 1 minute to 8 minutes. She has had and continues to have numerous tests run and with continual hospital stays, medical bills are adding up. Although the Lupus will never go away, she is slowly progressing.

Cassie has always been able to light up any room she enters. Within minutes she will have made you feel like a best friend and wondering where she has been all your life. She has the biggest heart and would be willing to do whatever it takes to make sure you feel loved. Cassie and Christina are amazing women who deserve our help and love.
