Lupandin Family starting a new life in Canada

Donation protected
Hi, Andrei Lupandin came to Canada from Kharkov Ukraine at 17 years of age to pursue his hockey dream. After playing 4 years in the WHL and 15 years of pro hockey he returned home to the Kharkov Ukraine to start a family with his wife Antonina. With the war in Ukraine their home was destroyed, their boys Ilya, who is 15 and Denys, who is 12 could not go to school so they had to leave everything behind. They escaped to Slovakia and made the decision to start a new life in Canada leaving family, friends and their life behind. They have moved to Saskatoon due to the large Ukrainian population with little more then a hockey bag and one suit case for the family of 4. They have no work and need to start over. We are raising funds to help them with buying essentials, saving money to live and for future accommodations and household items.
As they left Slovakia to come to Canada, Andrei’s father died, he was not able to go say good bye. He has no family remaining in the Ukraine and wants to make a better life for his boys. Please consider supporting this strong and brave family as they try to make Canada their home.
