We are going to adopt! And, soon! We are so excited to announce that we have been chosen for a baby due in a few short weeks! We’d be so grateful if you considered partnering with us financially to bring baby home. But, first, our story:
Sarah has known her whole life that adoption would be part of her family’s story. And, after just one conversation with the Lord, John’s heart was completely on board as well. Our lives have forever changed as we’ve grown in the understanding of God’s “father heart” in adopting us. Without a doubt, we knew this would become our privilege to step into that same love for a child. We began our journey around a year ago and our hearts have been ready for a long time. We have so much joy and anticipation in the hopes of bringing baby into our home and hearts. (Milo and Luca have been talking often about being big brothers to a baby )
As we began this process, one thing that was incredibly important to both of us is that we work with individuals and agencies that not only have baby in mind, but also expectant mom and dad. We have grown in deep respect and admiration for the selfless and sacrificial choices expectant parents have made in the midst of such difficult life circumstances. The agency we are using, then, is known for their thorough and intentional approach towards expectant mothers.
That being said, we are so honored to have been chosen for a precious baby due end of March! This news, however, comes a bit faster than we expected. While we have saved the majority of funds necessary to complete our adoption, we are hoping to raise the remaining $9,800 needed in order to bring baby home.
