Lula Cafe Staff Relief Fund

In accordance with the law and also with the best interest of our community and country at large, Lula is closing our dining room for what could be an indefinite amount of time. While this is the best and only ethical option for us, it is a terrifying development in the lives of our many hardworking staff members who rely on the many diners who come through our doors to provide income through their patronage of the restaurant. These hourly and tipped employees live not just paycheck to paycheck but day to day. Any amount of money you generously care to donate will be evenly distributed to our staff and will be greatly appreciated beyond measure. Take care of yourselves and know that all of us at Lula are immensely grateful for the continued outpouring of support. We’ve been operating here for 20 years and have always been considered a place of refuge for our community and our staff alike.  We don’t intend for that to change.  Thank you for your help.
