My name is Luke Maxwell and I am a Life Scout with Troop 321 in San Carlos, CA. I am currently working on my Eagle Scout project with Hoover School in Redwood City, CA. My Eagle project will be to purchase, assemble, and distribute backpacks filled with school supplies to approximately 150 K-8 students before the 2022-2023 school year begins. Hoover is a public school within the Redwood City School District.

I chose to team up with Hoover School after a referral from One Life Counseling Center, a non-profit organization in San Carlos which my family and I have volunteered with since the beginning of the Pandemic. The money raised from this GoFundMe will go towards the purchasing of backpacks and school supplies for the students of Hoover School.
