On June 7th around 5:45 my brother (Luke) was in a motorcycle wreck. He was transported to the trauma center in JC. They went straight into surgery due to the amout of blood lost. During surgery they discovered he had a broke neck, collapsed lung, broke brachial plexus, toung bit in 2, broke jaw, a few missing teeth & the left arm is possibly paralyzed due to the damage in the nerves. He is on Life Support & in the ICU until further notice. Luke is such a strong man, & would do anything in the world for his family and friends. He has been making big progress from last night. Our dad is disabled & Luke’s insurance was dropped when he turned 18. Luckily our biological mom has insurance on him that we are hoping will cover his hospital bill. We are asking for any donation if you are able to give for Luke. Our family would never ask for donations if we didn’t need it but, when Luke gets back home he will be out of working for a year or longer. All the money raised will go to Luke to pay his medical bill and/or any other fees down the road to recovery, the money will also go to have his teeth replaced, therapy cost, equipment cost if any, and any other fees insurance may not pay due to his hospital bill being so very expensive. Every little bit helps no matter the amount. We really appreciate everyone’s support, texts, calls & visits. Thank you for all the prayers & time taken to visit my brother!


UPDATE 6/25/18
Luke has been moved out of ICU into a normal room. He is still having problems with his left arm. He is improving everyday & doing so much better. Luke still has a long ways to go until he is out. When Luke gets out of the hospital he will either being going to Quillen here in Johnson City or he will be going to the rehab center in Atlanta Georgia! Either way they are both going to cost us an arm an leg. His hospital bill is continuing to add up & we are hoping insurance will be able to pay for all his hospital bill. Insurance more than likely will not pay anything else due to his hospital bill being so much. we are still asking for any donations you can & are willing to donate. Every little bit helps!!
