Luke Halsall’s volunteer trip to Ghana 2025

Hi my name is Luke Halsall I will be joining a group of 10 Y11 students and 2 staff, along with 3 adult volunteers from local businesses and schools that will be heading out to Ghana on 5 July 2025 to take part in a life-changing 2 week volunteering trip to Ghana, West Africa, returning 18 July 2025.

The trip is designed to allow students the opportunity to volunteer their time and energy in supporting poorer schools and local communities in the Volta region of Ghana, located in West Africa. Whilst in Ghana, students will immerse themselves in Ghanaian culture and will have the opportunity to make a real difference to communities and individuals that genuinely need and appreciate it. The trip is designed so that students can be part of a legacy by contributing to a sustainable building programme, which focuses on improving school buildings and facilities, teaching local school students English, maths, music and sport. I would be grateful for any support financially to aid my trip. Thank you!
