Lucy is an RFS Volunteer who needs your help

Lucy Brearley is an amazing 22 year old paramedic graduate. She is a genuine hard working woman who puts her community before her own needs.

Lucy moves to the UK in 6 weeks to work as a paramedic.

Upon graduating university Lucy had plans to work at her casual job at McDonalds to save up as much money before she left. Unfortunately due to the fires Lucy has put her income on hold to volunteer with the RFS and help as many people as possible.

Lucy has done countless 18 hour days in a row.

Unfortunately she in not eligible for the Federal Government assistance and we are asking for your generosity to help Lucy because she has helped so many of you directly and indirectly.

A lot of the work Lucy has done goes unnoticed as she gets winched into the middle of nowhere with the team of Remote Area Firefighters and they attempt to extinguish the most remote of fires by hand.

Lucy has given up her time and worked on fires from Torrington - Braidwood including but not limited to Gospers Mountain, Green Wattle, Morton and Currowan Fires.

During the Green Wattle Fire she had to handle an emergency situation when urgent medical assistance was required and the Balmoral Community was stranded in the Balmoral Fire Station during a horrific fire storm.


I am humbly asking for your generosity to help Lucy with the start of her career as a paramedic. Every cent will help her.
