Hello, Makadii, my name is Sikhanyisiwe I am raising funds for my dad LUCKY MUMIRIKI affectionately known by his fans as Mayor to help with his current medical expenses and ongoing care at home. Many of you know him as one of the best rhythm guitarists to ever come out of Zimbabwe, but to us he is dad, the guy who never raised his voice at us, the guy who came straight home after work and called mom shamwari, the guy who made sure we had clothes and food on our table.

Unfortunately, life “lifed” In 2011 my dad our provider suffered a stroke due to high blood pressure. This affected his ability to play the guitar or do any other work. Time passed recovery was minimal, but we were ok because “as long as vari vapenyu”

This was just the beginning of what has become a very long journey that brings us to this moment. We are desperately appealing for help because not only is Mayor’s condition actively deteriorating, the costs of what he needs too get better has become to heavy for my family.

Below is a brief summary of his medical history

He is currently at Westview clinic under Doctor Marisa's care, who has been helping him, however the doctor cannot pay for his tests or medication out of his pocket. For Doctor Marisa to continue helping Mayor, he needs medication, and several tests to determine whether the medication is improving his condition or worsening. In addition to this Mayor needs speech therapy, physiotherapy, a nurse who comes regularly at home to administer drips as advised by Doctor Marisa. The additional funds would be to pay outstanding hospital bills at Parirenyatwa.
